Actually many people buy without opening an account, and then later contact me asking why they do not see their orders in their account. They want to check what they bought last time they made and order, to order similar products.

Previous orders of a customer who didn’t open an account are NEVER linked to this account (user ID) if customer finally opens it. Nothing niche here ?

There is a function in woocommerce REPORTS to link the previous orders to a user ID, but it can be done only manually, and it is so slow that it is boring to use.

So the question is why, when a customer opens an account, previous orders that used the same Email address, are not automatically linked to the newly created user ID that uses the same Email address as previous orders ?

So there no other known reason but the usual plugin conflict ?

Sorry if I am wrong, but I tried this plugin 3 times already at different stage of development, on different websites, and it was always a problem.
I installed another one and NEVER had even 1 problem.
I must be stupid.

Nice to see that this plugin is still nothing else but permanent new bugs.

Thank you, but you are talking as if Woocommerce was quick, when actually there are thousands (millions?) messages of people complaining that Woocommerce is super slow.

Sorry but it is of course a lot faster to print the list of 200 latest orders on the screen and then use Chrome CONTROL + F to find the latest order for a specific Email address.
I hope that at least you won’t say that Chrome search is slower than the Woocommerce search function ?

One more time, I am sorry if I am wrong, but usually people who develop CMS are not people who use them, so it often happens that an idea that seems great to a coder is actually not so good to use.

I hope that in the future it will be possible to add the customers Email address in the orders list page, as it was before.

Thank you, but before, I was able to search on the page with Chrome search function, because the email was displayed, which was a lot faster than searching by using Woocommerce search function in orders.

It is a lot faster to display 200 orders on the orders list screen and then search with Email address.

But maybe I am wrong and everybody else think that it’s better now ?!

But you can use Vanish and HTTPS together by having something else sit in front, receive HTTPS connections, and pass it over to Varnish. This “something else” is typically Nginx or Apache.”

So the result is that it is possible to use Varnish cache with HTTPS, but really, it was not as clear when reading different websites.

And actually it seems too difficult for me, so how can I achieve this ? How could I find online someone to help to setup Varnish ?

Or maybe by following your other very interesting link, Woocommerce could really be faster and then Varnish would not be a priority anymore ?
