We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the 2.12.0 update. It was due to an internal code conflict. Generally, we perform an extensive test before releasing an update but somehow this unforeseen issue slipped through. We will take steps to ensure this doesn’t happen again!
We have immediately released a hotfix version 2.12.1 to address the issue. Please manually update the plugin to get the issue solved and your site back:
- Access your website’s plugin folder using a file manager or FTP client.
- Rename the folder “Spectra[ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg]” to any other name.
- Your site should now be up. Visit the plugins page in your WordPress dashboard and delete the Spectra plugin from there.
- Install the latest version of Spectra as a new plugin. Don’t worry, your old settings will be preserved.
