Complete homepage content shown instead of product description !!!

Sorry to hear your sites content got mixed up. Can you check whether the content looks ok with a default theme using the built in theme preview.

Hi Con thanks so much for your quick Feedback. Just to make sure i understood correctly (i am German so my english is not perfect): i should try how it looks with the built in theme right? But at the moment i cannot check because i made the corrections so i must wait until the next time it happens. Do you assume that it might be a Theme-issue? That’s a good idea as well – it could be that they have a newer version available or that they’re aware of the issue already.

thank you for the Details, I again have the same issue ! Just yesterday I corrected all product descriptions and this morning they are all gone again and the Homepage Content is being shown, I am reall going crazy that is so much effort to adapt this every time, I now tried another theme live preview ist the same issue with another theme as well.
Oh please help ! I cannot adapt descriptions every day! The shop is not shown properly to my customers for days :-((((

Hey there,

Thanks for the link and we see what you mean. In this case you will want to try switching back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen or Storefront and disabling all plugins except for WooCommerce to see if this resolves the issue. If so, then re-enable each one at a time until you find the one that’s causing the conflict.

I see you have the Flash theme active. Here is a link to contact support for that theme if you find switching to a default theme fixes the problem:

hi John thanks for your reply, actually its exactly the same issue i tried with twenty seventeen :-((( furthermore i have another problem: there are products added to customer orders that they DID NOT order !!! They are appearing in my order management, not in the shopping cart, and customers reveice an order confirmation email including these products that they actually did not order ! I am totally confused and very woried because my business is really suffering under these problems as you can imagine, it seems to me that my shop is undergoing a total collapse ! Can it be that the compatibility of Flash with woocommerce is an issue? I really dont have a clue what to do anymore, in the end i will have to set up everything again from the very beginning with another theme, maybe it then works but this will make my shop down for some days and means really loss for my business ?? thanks alot in advance for your support.

Okay, one problem per thread, please ?? We’re trying to help you out, and that’s going to be easiest if we tackle one problem at a time.

At this point, your best bet is a full conflict test to rule out any issues.

This kind of problem is usually caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin.

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to temporarily switch your theme to Storefront and disable all plugins except for WooCommerce.

If that resolves the issue, then one-by-one you can switch back your theme and re-enable your plugins, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict.

Hi Hannah thanks a lot for your feedback and sorry that i am a bit nervous but as you can imagine this is really influencing my business in a negative way, i started working with woocommerce just a few days ago because i wanted my business to grow, before that i was working with another CMS which never had any issues ??
SO: i really tried everything you mention, switched off / deactivated all plugins and tried with Storefron unfortunately STILL the same situation, as well as with the description issue as well as with products added to the orders that actually have not been added to the cart, my customers are becoming more and more disappointed, thank you so much in advance for your help, i really appreciate

I’m sorry to hear that didn’t work for you! Usually the conflict test will catch any conflicts that are happening. At this point, the next best thing is to have someone log in to check exactly what’s going wrong.
