Yes, in this major update, we have revamped the interface of this plugin. As regards to the font files uploaded location, we’ll see what we can do with this.

Anyway, what did you mean by “my existing font family was all messed up“? Could you please elaborate more about that and also share with us the steps to replicate it, so we can try to reproduce it on our end.

In the meantime, if the current version brings you problem, you might want to roll back to the previous version. You can use a plugin like WP Rollback for the ease.

now my fonts work fine and I see them in the backend.. but.. cannot manipulate them..

It seems you guys really don’t want to give us back the possibility to link them rather than upload them to the WP Library.. is there a deep reason for this ? That was very practical. Certain things have nothing to do in the Media Library as far I I see things.. WP media is messy enough as it is.

It would be good if the boxes titles that say:
Font files chosen
would actually use the font weight (name + number: Regular, 400)

Also would be good to be able to reorder those boxes.
At times one may upload Light 300 later for example and it gets out of order..

I still liked the old way better… guess we have to get used to it.

The new thing that seems useful is the ability to select multiple files at once.. Is this multiple selection something that would be challenging if the files are not in the Media.. is this why you decided to get rid of that ?

Actually, we already have this in our to-do list. We didn’t include it in the recent update is because we would like to focus on fixing the issue.

And thank you for sharing your thoughts about the box titles and reordering it. I will take this forward to our team, and we’ll see if we can do something about it.
