• I don’t usually comment on these things but this one pisses me off. It’s straight up a scam. EVERYTHING they offer for FREE replies on you to pay for them to publish the app for you…It’s worthless if you can’t publish it. Also..If you need another reason, The so called “free” version of the program they try to offer you for free is complete BS. Just stay away from this BS….NOTHING AT ALL what you’re looking for and I guarantee that 99% of the reviews for this thing are FAKE.

We’re sorry you think our product is a Scam. Unfortunately I think you didn’t understand what Worona is about, or at least you didn’t read the description of the plugin because everything you’re complaining about is explained there.

There is no way to publish an App in the Google and the Apple App marketplaces for free, but we don’t charge for this service, it’s Google and Apple. It is true that we offer the possibility of publishing YOUR APP FOR YOU, so you don’t have to deal with the publishing process, and we charge for this service, as anyone would expect.

What we offer for free is the mobile-app, and then like all the other freemium services on the internet, we offer extra extensions and services. But we go even further, and we give you the code of your app, so you can change anything you want.

We really appreciate all the other reviews because they come from people who have used Worona, and have liked it.

Personally I would appreciate this review if it was my plugin, it shows your description is clearly not clear enough.

Having looked at the plugin description, I can easily see how someone would not realise that the build and publish aspects are a paid for service. I would go so far as to say it currently does its best to hide such potential costs.

Perhaps rather then berating a reviewer and potential customer for failing to read the description, you spend a little bit of time rewriting it to make it crystal clear in the main description (not tucked in the FAQ) what steps someone needs to do to publish and where they may incur costs.

    Just a thought

Thanks for your opinion Tim. We really appreciate constructive reviews, but this one is not really polite.

We don’t hide any potential costs. In the tutorial you need to follow in order to make Worona work is clearly explained that Apple and Google will charge you for publishing. The build and publish service are not required, users can do it by themselves and we explain them how in our Guide. So once again, there are no hidden costs.

With Worona you can build and publish your App to the stores and we won’t charge you at all.

Once you install the plugin there is a link to the Worona Start Guide (https://www.worona.org/start) where, step by step, everything is explained with detail. We’ve improved this guide thanks to all the feedback we have received from our users.

I am going to close this thread, the review has been made and responded to.

At this stage the plugin author is simply digging their own hole, and while that maybe entertaining to watch is not constructive. Hopefully with cooler heads some rewording will be made to the description to prevent any further users misunderstanding and leaving negative reviews.
