Complete Uninstall Giving Error

    I need to re-setup WooCommerce on a client site, they are on Siteground and had used it before and jacked all up. I installed it and found it had products and settings etc so I want to wipe out the database.

    I followed this uninstall method here, https://woocommerce.com/document/installing-uninstalling-woocommerce/#uninstalling-woocommerce and added the

    define( 'WC_REMOVE_ALL_DATA', true );

    to wp-config.php then deactivated the plugin. I then tried to delete and it fails,
    gives me an error up top saying

    Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.

    Is there an SQL option I can run to purge the DB of everything WOO so I can restart? Thanks

    I’m not aware of an SQL option but if the official uninstall method (by adding the code) is not working for you, you can manually delete WooCommerce data completely by following the steps explained in this article, as a workaround: https://woostify.com/how-to-reset-woocommerce/#8-manually-delete-woocommerce-data-completely

    Next, follow these steps:

    – Via FTP or CPanel, go to /wp-content/plugins and then rename the WooCommerce folder to something like woocommerce_previous.
    – Login to your WP-Admin dashboard, disable all plugins, and change to a default WP theme like Storefront or Twenty Twenty-One.
    – Install WooCommerce afresh.

    I have exactly this problem. I disabled all the plugins and activated the 2022 theme and tried again but the error still persists.
