We use only the registration, no payment. When a visitor reserves a ticket for an event, they receive an email. However, the site admin does not receive an email.
Is it possible that this only works when booking / paying? We need this email for better overview of reservations.

    Thanks for help!

  • Hi @wolfspad,

Thank you for reaching out and using our Events Calendar Plugin.

By default, email notification to the admin when someone purchase a ticket for an event is not yet supported.

That said, we have a free extension that you could try out for adding additional recipients for ticket emails → Event Tickets: Ticket Email Settings

This extension allows you to add additional recipients for ticket-related emails, including the site admin.

By installing and activating this extension, you can ensure that the site admin receives an email notification whenever a visitor reserves a ticket for an event, even without payment.

Let us know how it goes.

I see this and i think, noting changed!

Ticket Email Settings extension is no longer supported
We noticed you have the Ticket Email Settings extension active. The settings from the extension, living in the “Ticket Emails” tab, will no longer affect email functionality, and the extension will no longer be supported. Please be sure you configure your emails from the “Emails” tab.

    Hi @wolfspad,

    I apologize for the confusion.

You are right, the Ticket Email Settings extension is no longer supported and its settings no longer affect email functionality.

To address the issue of the admin not receiving an email notification when a visitor reserves a ticket for an event, we have introduced a new and easier way to manage emails associated with ticket selling and RSVP confirmation since version Event Tickets 5.6.0.

You can now configure email notifications directly from the "Emails" tab in the Tickets settings.

This allows you to set up email notifications for different events, including RSVP confirmations and ticket sales.

To ensure that the site admin receives an email notification for every reservation, you can enable the appropriate email notification settings for RSVP confirmations.

For more detailed instructions and guidance, please refer to our knowledge base article on Event Tickets Emails.

I apologize for any confusion caused by the outdated information regarding the Ticket Email Settings extension.

Please follow the instructions provided in the knowledge base article to configure the email notifications according to your requirements.

Let us know how it goes.
