Completely blank template to be used for emails

I’m using the genesis framework and I would like to create an email newsletter template that editors can use to choose what blog posts go into the newsletter. The part that I’m stuck on is how to get a completely bare template. With no styles or scripts carried over from the functions. Has anyone ever done this or could point me in the right direction?
