Completely Blank White page.

  • I am not sure if my site auto updated or if it was hacked. I havenbt been on it for two weeks and I see it a white page. I mean nothing. I cannot get into the backend either. I have been poking around in PHPAdmin, everything looks fine. I even changed the template name to twentyfifteen knowing its a default template. Ive poked around File Manager, everything seems fine. I am going to go to a later version of wordpress to see if that helps.

    Does anyone have any suggestions??

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
