• Freaking update just crashed my website, obviously bluehost blames wordpress, wordpress offers nothing to help, can’t see the visual mode of my posts, I hve re-installed the latest version, I won’t disable pluggins because everything indicates the problem is the actual version.

Debug pluggins show nothing wrong and I’m just in freaking limbo paying for having a zombie website hosted and no help to be expected.
    So frustrating.

    website is: https://www.passthechipotle.com

so, kind fellow sufferers, any advise or shall we just moan ad infinitum…?

  • Its frustrating and I can understand. Had a few instances myself.

Can you change the theme to 2016 or 2017 and check if that works?

You will have to FTP to your server and rename the active theme under wp-content/themes/

    Hey, thanks for the reply,

I am using a themeforest theme and the problem seems to be on wordpress rather than on the theme since i can’t even see/edit my posts on the wordpress panel.

I have updated every plugin and forced a manual wordpress update twice and still nothing.

So you can get to the wp-admin and log in?

Go to appearance>themes> and change to twenty seventeen.

Well I don’t see why the theme should be the problem, anyway tried to switch to 20 17 and nothing happened, same blank homepage and still can’t see the vifual version of my posts.

Your source code is all there.

Using the file manager provided by your host or ftp rename the plugins folder plugins-old.
