okay – dumb move on my part. i’m blaming it on the heatwave!!

i broke coursepress – messing about with slugs. believe the problem was changing (i think it was) “course_settings” to “settings”. i see now that was really stupid = white screen of death!

i can delete coursepress through cpanel, and everything is good, but reinstall regenerates problem. i’m assuming database? i have no idea what would be easier to fix – go into files and find/fix replace the “course_” part or delete every trace of plugin (from database) and install fresh??
    hope this makes sense.

would love to get it working again!!
sorry and thanks in advance for assistance. ??

    Hey there mycraftymom,

Heat can definitely make us do those things!

I’m not sure if that is actually related to the database but we can try removing those tables from the database to see if that will fix the issue.

To find them please access your site database and go to wp_options table and search the following:

    %coursepress_%

Once you do that you should be able to see CoursePress tables, see screenshot https://screencast.com/t/UaEN5lDxoP.

    Hope this helps ??

    Best regards,
    Bojan

That are only options, where are courses saved? Even if I delete and reinstall old curses still exist, so they are stored somewhere….

    Hey there rophiroth,

Courses as well as any other content in WordPress is stored in the database so even if you delete the plugin after installing it again courses will still be there, same as posts will after you delete a theme.

You already have an answer to where in database this is stored in my previous post.

    Best regards,
    Bojan
