    Hello,

I know this requirement is incorrect, according to GDPR, but we need to ensure for the client that the cookie banner is not displayed on mobile devices at all.

How to set this solution in Complianz (without disabling the cookie banner using CSS)?

Many thanks for your reply and suggestions.

    Jiri

    Hi @wpadmi,

It’s possible, but not with an option/setting in the plugin itself; this would require some customization i.e. with an MU Plugin.

For example, by checking if the user agent contains keywords that are typically found in the user agents of mobile browsers, and disabling the Cookie Banner/Blocker if that is the case.

    disable-banner-mobile.php

The above example will do exactly that, but feel free to make modifications depending on your needs.

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi @wpadmi,

Did the provided filter do the trick on your end as well?

    Kind regards, Jarno

    Hi Jarno,

In the end, we didn’t have to apply it because the client changed his decision.

But I am glad I know how to solve it next time.

    Thank you very much!
