Well, we had to disable the plugin and to be sure, we are deleting it. Because it was creating when activated an insane amount of requests to our database and completely killing our site. For the last 5 days maybe. Or maybe after last WP update. So right now, if you wish to risk and destroy your site for your visitors because it will become slow, inaccessible and hard to use, well, try this plugin…

  • @keengamer We’ll be happy to troubleshoot the issue you’re facing.

On rare occasions, we’ve seen users having their site slow down after updating to the latest version of the Core. This happens when they skip an intermediate version and update to the latest core. As a result, multiple duplicate copies of the default template are created under RSS Aggregator > Templates. There should be just one default template created by our plugin.

Assuming this is the case, you’ll need to delete the templates from your database to get the site back to normal. To delete these, delete all posts from wp_posts with post_type equal to wprss_feed_template by using your database client. The solitary default template should be re-created by our plugin, and the duplicate ones gone.

Please ensure you have adequate backups of your site before modifying your database. If this doesn’t help and you need further support, please get in touch with us through our website’s contact form.

Hi Naweed, well, we have updated the core continuously one by one as it goes. The database table looks ok, we have there 35k of entries, about 6 entries per minute. The issue could be the fact that we had maybe around 15 or 20 RSS feeds which we were using to show news. However, we had issues with your plugin also in the past so we have deleted it and won’t risk it anymore…
