    Hello,

i had wordfence previously and then uninstalled it (without removing its tablets etc). Then around that time my website had frequent 500 internal server messages. The website was pretty fast but sometimes randomly it loaded really long and ended up with 500 internal server error. Could it be becaused I didnt remove wordfence completely? I tried it on another website that had wordfence still installed and removed it completly and it was faster right away. How do I remove all tables and setting now hence Wordfence isnt installed anymore? Should I just install it again and then completely remove it?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi @user01010, thanks for your question.

If your .htaccess file still contains the auto_prepend_file directive pointing to wordfence-waf.php there is a chance 500 errors could occur. Having said this, I would expect them to be constant on any attempted page load rather than sporadic if that was the case.

Our documentation has information on how to fully ensure the plugin has been removed (including manual removal steps): https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/remove-or-reset/

The Wordfence Assistant plugin can also assist in ensuring all data has been removed.

Let me know how you get on!
    Peter.

I removed all tables with Wordfence Assitant (I hope it did? It was pretty fast), i will update if the 500 internal server error is gone or not
