    Hi
I am having problems with Yoast SEO plugin.

Basically I don’t have Readability or SEO Analysis on each page or post.

I have tried deactivating it then reactivating it but it still doesn’t work properly.

I have then tried deleting the database tables and then re-installing the plugin but it still doesn’t work.

So how can I safely delete all traces of this plugin so I can start again?

    Thanks

    Colin

If you want to uninstall the plugin, you may want to refer to this article — https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-uninstall-my-plugin/

It’s possible you don’t have readability or SEO analysis on each page or post because you have some settings that aren’t enabled. Please check the options below:

There is an option to turn on/off the readability and keyword analysis. Can you please check whether they are enabled for you? You can find this on the left menu under SEO > General > Features

Can you please confirm that the SEO and Readability are enabled on the posts? You can check this by going to your WordPress dashboard, and then going to SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types and seeing that the Yoast SEO Meta box says “show”?

Additionally, please check that your admin hasn’t disabled the SEO and Readability analysis for your users. Please go to your WordPress dashboard, and then navigate to Users > All Users > Edit > Yoast SEO Settings and seeing that the Disable SEO & Readability analysis isn’t ticked?

Check if Yoast SEO is ticked in Screen Options on the upper right-hand side when editing a post or page

    Hi Michael
Thanks for replying, they were disabled in the Users Profile. I wouldn’t have thought of looking there.

Many thanks again for your help. It’s now working as it should.
