    Hello there,

My agency is cleaning up a few dozen websites we’ve inherited which have Strong Testimonials, as well as a few of your premium add-ons, installed. Some of them have had no upkeep in several years and no CAPTCHA etc, so they’ve amassed thousands of spam testimonial submissions. We’re simply going to remove the plugins on these sites by deactivating and uninstalling it. (I feel it is a great plugin, but not for our clients, who do not keep up with the testimonial submissions.)

Will this remove all of the spam testimonials, as well as all database tables associated with the plugin? Or will we have to manually delete the testimonials first? What database tables does the plugin populate? Thank you!

  • Hi @larosadigital,

Thanks for reaching out! To delete all data including spam testimonials you will need go to your dashboard Plugins > Strong Testimonials > and underneath you will see a red Uninstall text > click there > select ‘all data’ > and proceed to uninstall the plugin. It will remove all data Strong Testimonials plugin have set in your database.

    Warmly,

    Mihaela
