Complex recovery help needed

  • Hi all…
    My hosted site was hacked badly and I had no option except to delete everything from the hosted server.
    before i did that i managed to copy the entire directory structure to my laptop and went into mysql and secured the associated database as a zip file on my laptop

    I am keen to rebuild the site … there was only one page with a lot of useful text
    can anyone tell me either where that page can be found in the files in the structure i have sved or which database table contains the data i need

  • I’d have used the export tools first to export all my content.

    I’d then have tried cleaning my site… possibly after reinstalling the core overtop of the hacked site… all except wp-config anyway.

    What you might do is put everything back then follow the article below…

    Carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

    thanks for replying but I plan to use different tools to build a single page simple site which will include a regular backup.
    So your suggestions are not needed thank you.

    but … i do need to try to find which wordpress table contains the content i need to copy and paste into my new page.
