This was working just fine 2 weeks ago the last time I posted. I went to add more entries for the client, and now none of their facebook iframe embeds work. I’ve done everything listed in the help files regarding Integrations, but it doesn’t fix it. It shows a message that I need to agree to marketing cookies. I click it and nothing happens. I do not want ANYTHIING blocked before consent. Complianz used to work flawlessly and i’m not sure what happened in the last 2 weeks to break it, but what a nightmare. I use it on 100 websites and I’m guessing that I must have other broken websites now too as a result of this flaw or bug or whatever it is. I’m in the USA, my clients are all in the USA, and we only serve USA clients. I am not REQUIRED to do cookie consent, I just think it’s the right thing to do. I don’t care about GDPR. Europe should not be allowed to pass laws that create such a huge burden on small businesses across the world. How do I fix my websites? Do I just need to scrap complianz and stop promoting it to my clients?

“Click to accept marketing cookies and enable content” I click, and nothing happens. nothing at all. I have turned integrations off, I have turned off scripts, etc etc etc but this actually is broken on ALL of my websites.

I tried to disable the complianz plugin, but it didn’t help – it seems to have permanently changed something on my sites. Simply disabling complianz does not fix the problem that was caused by complianz.

    Hi @greenwebdesign,

The plugin doesn’t make permanent changes to your site, if you disable it; it will no longer be able to affect the behavior on your site.

If the changes persisted after disabling the plugin, you were probably viewing a ‘cached’ version of the site which still had those modifications applied.

In any case, you can disable the Facebook integration & clear cache, and the content in question won’t be blocked any longer.

    Kind regards, Jarno
