Complianz GDPR Consent plugin blocking facebook feed images

    Using smashballoon plugin. Added facebook feed. if Complainz disabled all looks good.

    But enabled, Complianz displays:

    “This notice is visible to admins only.
    Visual Header disabled due to GDPR setting. Click here for more info.”

    the “Click here” link goes to a page which says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page”

    Hope you can help. I am using the free version. I see the pro version may have this fixed. Not sure we can justify the extra cash. Is $49 a one off. But I think it should work.

    In Integrations, under services, Facebook is switched on and “placeholder” is checked. Since it says “Enabled services will be blocked on the front-end of your website” I disabled this but it makes no difference.

    Smashballon is not listed in Integration->Plugins, but I am not sufficiently technical to understand from your guidance articles how to add it, or if this is required.

    Hi @petemason2019,

    The GDPR notice is displayed by the Facebook Feed plugin as they integrate with Complianz. Smash Balloon detects that Complianz is active and enables it’s own GDPR functionality found at Facebook Feed > Settings > “Feeds” tab > GDPR, where you can also manually control it, if needed.

    Header now showing but pictures not showing, but disabling Complianz has no effect, so it’s not you, I think.
