Hi there @johan_walter,
Thanks for reaching out.
Could you please help confirm the version of the plugin you’re using?
Hi @ckadenge
Google Analytics for WooCommerceVersion 2.0.7
Complianz?|?GDPR/CCPA Cookie ConsentVersion 7.1.0
WooCommerce Version 8.9.1
GA Google Analytics Version 20240308 (in case it might create conflict?)
WordPress 6.5.3
all website is up to date
thanks
To send analytics data to Google Analytics, your consent mode integration must update the consent states after visitors grant consent. You can follow Google’s guide to test if the consent state is correctly updated. If you find the consent state is not updated by your cookie plugin, please contact the plugin’s developers for assistance in ensuring compatibility with Google Analytics for WooCommerce. If you’re using the Complianz plugin, this code snippet can be used to ensure compatibility.
I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.
Hi
My issue is not really about consent state updated
When I have “Google Analytics for WooCommerce” activated all traffic and datas are blocked and are not going into Analytics
When I deactivated “Google Analytics for WooCommerce” traffic is in Analytics again
In both case Complianz is activated
“Google Analytics for WooCommerce” simply blocks all traffic and prevent any data to go into AnalyticsI don’t understand why I should add a code snippet to make your plugin compatible with Complianz. A support thread on your supoort forum advice Complianz, that’s why I choose this solution.
Can ‘t you instead implement a fix in your plugin ?
I understand your concern and the need for a more permanent solution. Our development team works hard to make sure our product works well with popular plugins like Complianz. But sometimes, plugins can conflict with each other. Also, factors like cache can contribute to the issue as tracking depends on JavaScript.
However, did you add that code snippet? Does the issue persist even after adding that?
Meanwhile, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/
Let us know how that goes for you.
Hi @shameemreza
No I didn’t add code snippet, I don’t want to install an extra plugin “code snippet” and make fixes
I uninstalled Complianz
As you said this is very frustrating, everything was working fine before you force to use Google Consent Mode.
your plugin must give an option to implement GCM or not , this is responsibility of website owner to implement it or not even if we go against the law but at least we would have a solution time to find the right solution
For the time being we are losing datasSolutions I am thinking is to implement Google Tag Manager (we don’t have it so far) and see if we get more datas
Other solutions is to stop using Google Analytics and go for Piwik or BurstI can understand the are constraint from EU but I don’t like the way you implemented it through your plugin
Thanks for your reply anyway
Regards
Johan

Hi,
Same issue here.
If I disabled all plugin except WC & Google Analytics for WooCommerce. I can’t see data. So I’m not sure that Complianz is the only one responsible for not uploading data from Google Analytics for WooCommerce.
It is very difficult to see effect of SEO campaign etc. Urgent help needed
Thanks
Hey, @sevun!
If you need help investigating this further, per WordPress forum guidelines, would you mind opening up a new thread for this so that we can keep things organized and offer more personalized support for you? We’ll be happy to help you out with this over there!
Have a wonderful day!
Hi there,
In
2.1.0
to improve the integration with plugins like Complianz, we implemented the compatibility with WP Consent API. This is a plugin that acts as a bridge between plugins. Thanks to that, the Google Analytics for WooCommerce should work with other compatible plugins, listed on their site. Currentyl, it’s Complianz GDPR/CCPA, Cookiebot, GDPR Cookie Compliance. If you’re facing problems with Complianz, first, please make sure you’re running the latest version of Google Analytics for WooCommerce (>=
2.1.0
), have the Tracking ID set in the setting, and install the WP Consent API.
