    Hello there.
I’m currently trying to understand if this cookie “complianz policy id” comes from your plugin and it’s necessary to be active by default or not.

Also, if I set “accept all” at first and then I want to change my preferences by disabling statistics and marketing cookies, they seem to be activated again even if they have been disabled.
Could you try to make a check?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @richardzed,

The Policy ID cookie keeps track of the version of the Cookie Policy that the visitor has consented to. If there are significant changes to your website, the Cookie Policy might have to be adapted to this, and your visitors will have to give their consent again.

For cookies such as the GA cookie from Google Analytics, after a revoke there might still be a value from the cookie that had previously been set. However, the parameter is now invalid and a new cookie would be needed (thus, consent is necessary) to start tracking again.

We don’t automatically “remove” (First-Party) Cookies from your visitor’s browser as that could be seen as invasive. If you would want to do this anyway, please refer to https://complianz.io/withdrawing-consent/ for information on how to do this.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
