    Hi there,

I have a youtube video embedded on the page included in this ticket.

If you accept marketing cookies the video shows. Do a hard refresh and instead the iframe loads the website 404 page where the youtube video would be.

On the live version of the site I’ve disabled Youtube in Complianz > Integrations and it shows as it should.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @pennipick,

I can indeed see the behavior occur on your website. But I also see that after providing Marketing consent and reloading the page; the video initially loads correctly, but switches to the 404 page after a second or so.

I suspect that it happens because another tool/script modifies the video source, resulting in an invalid URL for the video; and a 404 page appears.

If I “block/exclude” the PerfMatters Lazyload script in my own browser, this behavior no longer occurs. The video remains correct after consent & a page reload when I do so.

Could you test the behavior without the Lazy Load optimization in PerfMatters enabled, to see if that fixes the issue?

    Kind regards, Jarno

Hi @jarnovos – yep that resovles it. Thank you.

In an ideal world I’d be able to lazyload via perfmatters and block if cookies aren’t accepted via complianz, but for this site with the tiny amount of video content it’s no huge deal.
