Hello,

I have installed the aesop plugin and added the add_theme_support snippet. However, when I click “Add Component” on a post, the tab to select the components is completely misplaced and I can’t use any component (I see them in a dropdown box on the bottom left of the screen).

Anything I am doing wrong? Is there another step I should take to enable the correct component tab view?

Hey @mkuez,

What theme are you using? What version of ASE? Do you have any other plugins activated?

Hi,

1. latest version of Ase, just downloaded from the website

2. no other plugins activated

3. default wp theme (I just did a fresh install)

That doesn’t look like it was installed correctly. Can you try re-installing? Then deactivate any other plugins, clear your cache, etc. It looks like the CSS file isn’t loading on your end.

Hi guys,

I am going to mark this as solved. The CSS is not loading, this has probably to do with some server set ups I am still trying to figure out. I have done some testing and managed to get the plugin components tab to work (thought I still have issues with CSS loading on the website).

New problem, I get a

TypeError: tinyMCE.activeEditor.dom is undefined

It seems the page is loading all the javascripts.

Are you still having the same problem as your first post describes? Where you cannot add a component?

No, that was a different problem, it disappeared once I moved to the virtual server. Before I was installing locally by unzipping the plugin, maybe the standard install is downloading other files too? Anyway, solved, thanks again and sorry for posting probably in the wrong thread.

Ok, good to hear!

The standard install shouldn’t have anything extra over the zipped file of the plugin, so I am not sure what you mean.

If there are further problems, feel free to open a new thread.
