Composite with composites or bundle

    Hi.

    I’m trying to have a composite product with some other composites as part of the group. But I cannot. If I add simple products, they appear in the product details in the front end. But the composite don’t. And I get this: ‘Please select a purchasable product in the component before adding to the cart.’

    Another thing that happens with this composite product is that I try to give it an amount in the inventory, but when I save the changes it goes back to zero.

    I also tried to use bundle products, but composites won’t appear in the list.

    What can I do?

    Hi @ignacioj ,

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    For your information, it’s impossible to add a smart bundle to another composite product or smart grouped product. These special product types are equal and work individually.

    You can use the WPC Frequently Bought Together plugin to add optional extra products to a smart bundle/ grouped product/ composite product.

    Or use the WPC Force Sells plugin to add required extra products to a smart bundle/ grouped product/ composite product.

    These extra items will be displayed under the main bundled products/ grouped products/ component products in that product page.

    I tried exactly what you tell me: WPC Frequently Bought Together. And it works great with this.

    I read about WPC Force Sells and it greats in a similar way.
