computer fried,blog creation jeopardized

Hi, this isn’t a wordpress problem specifically, but I’m hoping someone out there might know how to solve it–as my computer’s f–d and it’s jeopardized the creation of my wordpress blog (in progress)

When I turn on my computer, it says something like there is no access to my personal settings or file, and it creates a temporary one with just the bare bones (some software, no documents) of what I had when the computer’s working. Here are some of the problems I’m having as a result:

a) the software I’ve been using to make my webpage (photoshop) is very buggy, and it even gave me a warning about lower performance

b) it’s removed a browser and software (google chrome and also firefox webdeveloper extension) and I have to reinstall each time I turn on the computer because the settings in this temporary file aren’t saved

c) I can’t save documents in general because it’s just a temporary access

Anyone know if this problem is fixable? I did a google search and found a way to access the documents that i did have saved under the named user for the computer, but without the above problems fixed ahhh!
