Hi. I’m a Complianz User. I’ve read your article about the Contact Form 7 and the blocking of reCAPTCHA prior to consent. I don’t fully understand the blocking of a tool that provides a safety layer for a site, specially for ecommerce. For me it is the same as having an armored door in your house and leaving the key on the doormat so that whoever wants to enter. Any robot or malicious person could leave it deactivated and roam the web freely. That would be a great danger. I don’t know if you’ve thought about it? What is your position on this? I am looking forward to your response. Thank you very much in advance

    Hi @nuevaenword,

There is a Google ReCaptcha badge displayed after consent is obtained, but you might’ve missed it, as it falls just behind the notice that is displayed on the bottom of the page.

The easiest would probably be to add a notice to the form, informing your users that the Google ReCaptcha service has to be accepted (and include a link to your Cookie Policy) before the registration can be performed.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Hi Jarnovos. I’ve seen the badge. But it seems tha Complianz is not blocking the checkout page. I mean, the badge is not showing but when you buy using a cupon the form is sended without any error. What can I do?

Hi again Jarnovos. I’m considering changing reCAPTCHA for Cloudflare Turnstile. Do you know it? What is your opinion about it? I found this https://dash.cloudflare.com/913d3d1f4b7ada0306d5c468d28c2717/turnstile

    Thanks in advance. Regards

    Hi @nuevaenword,

Honestly we don’t have personal experience with CloudFlare turnstile, but it seems way better in terms of Privacy concerns :-).

    Kind regards,
    Leon
