Concern over large amount of database queries

    Hi,
    Love the plugin – very powerful.
    I have a league with 8 teams who play each other in round robin each week over an 8 week season.
    I then have a page where I am loading the matches widget – shows the 4 games for each week of the season. And underneath I have the standings widget for that season.

    I used the “Query Monitor” plugin to see how many database queries were needed to generate the page and it said Joomsport had 240 select queries on that one page. I also have the Events Calendar plugin running on there, as a sidebar widget showing upcoming events – that is only using 20 queries.

    Figured you might want to check that out.

    Thx for reporting and the details. I will ask our developer to have a look on the issue.

    Can you please confirm you are using the latest 3.2.1 version. We did number of large improvements for performance within last two releases.

    Hi!
    We have tried to reproduce the issue on our server and it takes just 40 queries on page with Matches widget.
    Could you please submit request via JoomSport HelpDesk and provide us with access to your website so we can do some tests and find how to improve the functionality
