I am currently using your plugin for Google Drive integration, and I opted to create a manual Google Drive app via the Google Cloud Console. Despite following the steps to configure manual integration (adding the authorized redirect URI, client ID, and secret key), the plugin still connects to your “SoftLab” account when adding a Google Drive account, instead of showing my manually created app.

I am particularly concerned about data privacy and the permissions your plugin is requesting from my Google Drive. If I’ve gone through the process of setting up my own Google app, why is your plugin bypassing that and still connecting to your SoftLab account, which has full access to my Google Drive permissions? This raises doubts about the functionality of the manual option and the security of my data. Could you explain why this happens and how I can ensure my manual app setup is used instead?

    Hi @ezeetech21,

We’ve tested the authorization process using the custom Google App, and it’s working correctly on our end.

Could you please provide more details, such as screenshots or a video, showing how you’re using the custom Google App and the issue you’re encountering? This will help us investigate further and assist you accordingly.

Yeah the option of my custom app was showing after I reloaded the page, but when I click to add account and continue to allow permissions of tested users that i added in app then it returns to same URL in new windows without linking my account and does not link and dees not show in linked accounts list but when i disable custom google app and link my gdrive account with plugin google app, then it works but i want to use my custom google app, i have followed all steps of documentation and created google app successfully but by linking account it does not work and return to the same page of linking account of your plugin. Screenshot is attached

    Hi @ezeetech21,

Please uninstall and remove the currently installed plugin, then reinstall the updated version from the WordPress plugin repository. This should resolve the issue.

    Hi @ezeetech21
Download and install the plugin again.
