Concerns about locations of some options in WP Dashboard.

  • For some time I am concerning about locations of some options in the WordPress Dashboard.

    These options are:

    Dashboard > Appearance > Editor
    I think the things you can do with Editor doesn’t fit Appearance as you seriously break some functions your site or plugins with it. Tools might be a much better location for it.

    Dashboard > Appearance > Themes
    As it does match Appearance I think Settings would be a better location. Most site users, in my opinion, wouldn’t change themes for a long period as it changes the appearance/identity of the website. I think themes is something that matches site Settings more than Appearance, because of that.
