Conditional fields to print on pdf invoice

We want to setup a checkout page where names of one checkout field (building name) will conditionally populate based on the parent field (suburban).
We also want to print this information on PDF invoice.
Currently, there is one custom checkout field for both fields like building-name and suburban. but adding conditional logic will add more custom fields. So how do we print them on pdf invoices?
