Conditional Form Visibility …that is NOT desired.
-
Hello once again,
While I try to fix/solve all issues which arise on the site I observe, issues outside my knowledge/resources are inevitable. And I’ve run into this with the PRO Version (ver. 5.0.120) of your product/plugin for a second time; as you had solved my last issue several months ago, I am confident you’ll be able to do so again. This one has had me scratching my head all day…
At present, the Forms which should be seen here and here are MIA; or, rather, they are Invisible/Hidden from view, to be more specific. At first it seems to be the same issue as you had resolved for another individual at https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/after-update-to-1069-my-form-doesnt-render?replies=11, but I’ve tried the Javascript Cache advanced-option without any change. (QUick note: the Script Loading Method is set to “Direct” due to a previous conflict; and changing this back to default makes the working Forms vanish as well.)
Now, those “working forms” is the real point of confusion for my attempts at fixing this matter myself. 20 of this website’s 22 Forms are located behind Content Protectors (i.e. password protected content using the Content Protector Plugin), and each and every one of those Forms work (in that they are visible, usable, and submitable).
I’ve checked (pen-tested), and “yes”, wrapping the broken forms in a content protector (i.e. the form’s shortcode being between the start and end shortcodes of the protector) causes them to work fine. While my lazy side wants to just keep them in a protector and be done with it, having a Contact Form behind a password field would be pretty stupid and the site’s actual owner would kick my rear!
Now, I cannot find the actual specific variable causing the ones to work and the others to not (despite the overall difference). Of my numerous developer tools I see NO Javascript errors, NO php issues, NO css overrides, NO network irregularities, and NO broken database queries… thus I’m writing for your help.
Thank you in advance.https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/calculated-fields-form/
