    Thank you for reporting this.

    Did you install any other plugin when it stopped working?

    No, I didn’t. I wanted to create a new sidebar.

    I had the same problem and found out there is a conflict with Post Connector Pro; when this plugin is activated it’s possible to select a post type in a new Sidebar, but then nothing happens.

    The error in the console is:

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'replace' of undefined

    It seems it has to do with the Backbone stuff that’s supposed to happen when selecting a post type; the console points to condition_groups.min.js:7

    Hope this helps with a fix ??

    When you update the sidebar, remember to click on “Save changes” on each condition group.

    It is strange that searching suddenly stopped working. What browser are you using, and does it happen to all content types?

    @tibor Paulsch

    Thank you for reporting this. There have previously been JS conflicts with other plugins, as seen here:

    However, I will look into why you see this error, perhaps that plugin enqueues a different version of Backbone.

    Thanks Joachim. I can not click on Save Changes as this does not appear anymore.

    I see

    Conditional Logic

    Display Sidebar With: I can’t do anything here

    Select Content Type: I can select the content type but there is no ” Save Changes” button

    and I have the other options on the right side that I can use but that’s about it.
    I’ll check the support pages link you sent.

    Joachim I have the same problem that ttopham described in his cast

    In one of the links you sent https://www.dropbox.com/s/mgf1iw0bo95zejd/sidebars.mp4?dl=0

    Then it is most likely a compatibility issue, but it is strange if you did not install or update any other plugin. Content Aware Sidebars has been hardened to avoid most of those conflicts, but as said in the other thread, I can only do so much.

    Did you update or install a new theme?

    I can only suggest that you deactivate all the other plugins on your site and activate them one by one to find the one with compatibility issues.

    Let me know.

    @tibor Paulsch

    I just tried testing on the free version of Post Connector, but there seems to be no problems with that. As I cannot test Content Aware Sidebars with the Pro version, I suggest that you contact the developers of the plugin and show them this thread.

    Thanks for the update Joachim! I will contact the developer and keep you updated too.

    @joachim

    I have checked with Barry Kooij (the dev of PostConnector); I can send you a copy of the pro version, so you can test with it.

    @tibor Paulsch

    That is great. You can send the files to jv [at] intox.dk. However, I can most likely not do anything about the incompatibility error but pin point it to the developers of PostConnector.

    I tried activating Post Connector Pro, but I am not able to reproduce the problem. Can you tell me the connections you have created in the plugin?

    I have only one connection; a custom post type to pages. I’ll send you a screen shot of the error I get in the console. Hopefully that will shine a light ??

    Thanks for sending the full error, it should make it easier for me to debug.

    Does it show up no matter what content type you select, or are you able to select and save some logic?

    Yep; no matter what content type.
