We have a lot of Conditional logic setup on widgets (mainly to show sertain widgets on specific pages) which was very easy on the classic setup. However, the Widgets section changed top Block Widgets and the Conditional logic settings seem to be no where to be found.

    Am I overlooking something?

I installed the “Classic Widgets” plugin to be able to access the Conditional logic setting again. But this seems a bit counter productive.

Anyone know how to access the Conditional logic settings in Block Widgets?

    Thanks!

  • Hello!

Can you confirm what plugins you are using on your site to create the conditional logic?

    Thanks for your reply Ryan!

As far as I know this is not done by any external plugin. At least I am assuming this was a feature in the classic widgets. I started doupting sice since you asked but I can’t find any plugin that could be related. Wasn’t this a standart feature?

To my knowledge, there is no built-in conditional logic for widgets. This functionality is most likely being provided by your theme or one of your plugins.

Do you by chance have this plugin installed? It seems to describe your situation as expected behaviour after the 5.8 update.

How strange, no we’re not using that plugin. Going by the screenshot it looks different also.

I have even checked the wp-content/plugins folder via FTP thinking, maybe, there’s a plugin not listed correctly but even then I can’t find a plugin tha could do the conditional logic.

We are using the DIVI theme so maybe it is included. However I can’t seem to find a way to turn it on or off in the DIVI settings.

UPDATE: I’m pretty sure it is Page Builder Everywhere plugin. Thanks, I really thought it was a default feature.

Glad to help! You may need to reach out to the plugin author for further support.

Yeah, I’ll do that. Installed the “Classic Widgets” for now. I’m sure an update for the “Page Builder Everywhere plugin” will come.
