    Hi,

Since updating on 10/31/19 to the latest version of the plugin, I can no longer place WP menus on pages under parent categories. I maintain a site with multiple navigation menus and pages under multiple page categories. Prior to the 10/30 update, I could add menus to any page under any parent category. After updating, when creating a new page under a parent category and adding a menu it no longer appears, but if a new page is not under a parent category (no parent) then the chosen menu will appear.

    Hi,

Sorry, don’t quite understand the issue.

Could you explain a bit more? Please give the sample URL and your menu condition detail.

At this link: https://cdlib.org/services/uc3/ there is a secondary navigation box in the left column. If “DMPTool”, “Dryad”, “Electronic…”, “EZID”, or “Contact…” links are clicked the same menu as the one on the page at the above link does not appear like it use to prior to the plugin being updated on 10/31. The menu that does appear is a default in case site authors do not add a custom menu when creating a new page.

The other 3 links (“About UC3”, “Merritt”, and “Publications…” are separate menus and are functioning as designed.
There was a problem with one of the pages in question being accidentally placed under the wrong page category after editing resulting in a broken menu link that brought to attention this issue we’re experiencing.

But if I create a new page and not assign it to a parent category (e.g., University of California Curation Center (UC3)) then I can add the custom menu and it will appear.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

Same with me tango. Cannot assign page with sub-sub-sub-parent page category.

Here is example in my case:

    For Page 1 > Page 2 > Page 3 > Page 4 > Page 5 …. and so on…
The URL should look like this: mydomain.com/pg1/pg2/pg3/p4/p5 ….

Page 1 –> can assign menu
Page 2 (sub-menu of Page 1) –> can assign menu
Page 3 (sub-menu of Page 2) –> can assign menu
Page 4 (sub-menu of Page 3) –> cannot assign menu
Page 5 (sub-menu of Page 4) –> cannot assign menu
    ….

Hope this can help admin too.

    Thanks.

    Hi
This issue also happened with me and it still
conditions do not work with pages that have sub-sub-sub parent after last update

what I did to go around about this bug
1- make that page no parent
2- go to condition and check it then explore the page it will work
3- make it again in same old place sub-sub-sub parent and please do not go back to condition

we are waiting to solve this bug please

Apologize for the inconvenience. Will rush our developer on this.

    Hi,
Any development on this issue, @themifyme?

I have a similar problem, even if I am only using page conditions. It used to work perfectly but now, if I update the conditions of one particular menu, it disappear from all the pages it should appear. Recently upgraded to WordPress 5.3, using AstraPro theme.

UPDATE: We’ve released the update. The sub page menu conditions should be working now. Note: you have to re-select the sub pages again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
