    Hey there,
I noticed a plugin conflict w/ The Events Manager Pro. When EMP is active, the widget’s visual editor blanks out and you can’t write into it, you can only do so through the text tab. Looking at debug bar, gives this message:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'buttons' of undefined
    <a href="https://antaeus.dev/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,jquery-ui-droppable,admin-widgets,svg-painter,heartbeat,wp-auth-check,thickbox,underscore,shortcode&load%5B%5D=,media-upload,wplink,editor,quicktags,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,json2,wp-plupload,mediaelement,wp-media&load%5B%5D=element,media-views,media-editor,media-audiovideo,wp-playlist,mce-view,imgareaselect,image-edit,word-count,wp-fullscreen&ver=4.1" rel="nofollow">https://antaeus.dev/wp-admin/load-scripts.php?c=1&load%5B%5D=hoverIntent,common,admin-bar,jquery-ui-droppable,admin-widgets,svg-painter,heartbeat,wp-auth-check,thickbox,underscore,shortcode&load%5B%5D=,media-upload,wplink,editor,quicktags,backbone,wp-util,wp-backbone,media-models,plupload,json2,wp-plupload,mediaelement,wp-media&load%5B%5D=element,media-views,media-editor,media-audiovideo,wp-playlist,mce-view,imgareaselect,image-edit,word-count,wp-fullscreen&ver=4.1</a> line 579

I reported this to modern tribe and they confirmed the issue. Not sure who the issue belongs to. Just reporting it.

I suppose you are referring to “The Events Calendar Pro” plugin, as I cannot find a plugin named “The Events Manager Pro” by Modern Tribe.
I made a test with the free version of “The Events Calendar” and I didn’t experience any issue. Unfortunately I cannot test with the Pro version as it’s commercial. If you or Modern Tribe can provide a copy of the plugin for testing purposes, I could take a look.

I’m having this same issue. Where can I send you a copy of the Pro version?

To clarify, the problem happens when adding a new TinyMCE Widget (the text and cursor are white and can’t bee seen in the editor – not the title input field). After saving and then reloading the page, the text and cursor are black and all is well.

I can also just send you admin login to the staging site where this is occurring.

    Hi Jason,
Please check our contact page to send us a copy of the Pro version and/or admin credentials to your staging site.

I’m also having this problem with the TinyMCE Widget and Events Calendar Pro, if there is a fix or update can you post it? Thank you in advance!

    Hi everyone,
as previously said, actually I am not able to perform compatibility tests with the Pro version of “The Events Calendar”. If someone can provide a copy of the plugin or an admin access to a site where it is installed (use the contact page linked above), I could try to take a look.
