config hack?

You know the custom field box in the admin page? Can you modify the way it looks and functions by going into a config file and changing it, or even adding another custom field box?

You can do this in Textpattern. I’ve done it! but TXP is so freakin hard to use….it seems to be code-based, making it much more flexible and powerful, but much more difficult.
