Thank you for reaching out, I’m sorry you’re having issues with authenticating.
Can you please double check to see if your popup blocker is disabled? This is normally a symptom whenever the Google Authentication process is not able to fully work.

Alas, that it could have been so simple! ?? Turned off pop up blocker, restarted the browser and attempted the operation again. Met with the same results.

hi @wildbuttrueblue which browser are you using? Please try in the another one. You should see this message to sign in with Google https://s.w.org/plugins/googleanalytics/screenshot-4.png?r=1573496

If not, you could turn off other plugins and see if there is a conflict.
