Hi – in the dashboard there is a panel that says: step 7 of 7. You are almost there etc. When i click on ?start to sell? i am presented with a choice of marketing extensions. Since the store is a very small business and since i do not wish any more plugins, i’d rather not install the proposed plugins. But if i do not complete this step, i am always seeing this panel in the dashboard.
It is not clear weather i can sell or not. How can i skip the step with ?marketing extensions??
    Thanks
    theo

  • Hi @timholz

It is not mandatory to have any paid marketing extensions.

Can you please try a test checkout (as a customer, while logged out or in incognito mode) to see if it is being allowed or interrupted?

If you do not see the desired results, please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can take a closer look. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

You can also share a screenshot that shows the problem. We recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.

Hi@Margaret – thanks a lot for responding so quickly. I did a test checkout, while logged out. It appears to be working well. Since the marketing extensions are not mandatory, i suggest that this step can be explicitly skipped in the setup Wizard. Just to avoid confusion.
Have a nice day – theo

    Glad to hear that.

Since this thread is resolved, I recommend creating a new thread, if you have any further questions.

    Thanks.
