    Hi support …

I am working on optimizing with https://gtmetrix.com/ and https://metricspot.com/
I am using PLUGIN AMP (https://es.www.ads-software.com/plugins/amp/) and I have detected what is happening, but I don’t know how to fix it.

    1) When I configure the AMP Plugin as follows:

    ?
I receive this rating at https://gtmetrix.com/
    ?

But https://metricspot.com/ does NOT recognize the configuration I have with YOAST SEO and GOOGLE ANALIYTICS
    ?
I do NOT recognize the latest update to WORDPRESS 5.3, which I have done
    ?
And on the web you DO NOT find ANY ICON….

    ?

    2) But when I change the AMP configuration
    ?
I receive this new rating at https://gtmetrix.com/
    ?
But https://metricspot.com/ this time I do recognize the configuration I have with YOAST SEO and GOOGLE ANALIYTICS
    ?
Nor does the latest update to WORDPRESS 5.3 recognize me that if I have done it…
    ?

And on the web this time, YES ,I find the ICONS as seen in the images …
    ?

What can we do to make everything go well ?????
    Greetings and thanks.

    Jorge

  • Hi Jorge! Thanks for the inquiries!

First thing to understand is the difference between the two modes or serving strategies that you are comparing.

    1) Standard mode means that your website is served as a fully AMP website. Changes are made to the code of your site in order for it to be a valid AMP website.

    — This is why the site is now performing well in the GT Metrix results. It is now optimized with AMP.

    — This is also why Metric Spot might not detect Google Analytics on the site. You’ll need to configure Google Analytics for your AMP pages specifically in the settings under AMP > Analytics. Alternatively, you can use a plugin like Site Kit to to insert the right code on your AMP (and non-AMP if you use the other modes) pages.

    — For your icons, it could be related to the lack of AMP compatibility of your theme. Do you notice any validation errors that reference your theme under AMP > Validated URLs? What is the name of your theme? You may need to check if they have AMP compatibility.

    2) Reader mode uses the classic template for your posts and pages (static homepage only; you may need to switch this option on from the editor). To access the AMP page you’ll need to add ?amp or for posts add /amp to the end of your URL. For example: https://magicandnature.com/blog-y-noticias/?amp

The same items above apply about the code in these URLs and the testing tools.

For the WordPress detection in Metric Spot, it requires a premium plan that I do not have. However, since you are testing it on your original (canonical) URL on the second example, it could be that the tool has not updated its ability to detect the new version of WordPress yet.
