    Configure 2FA Dialogs Broken

    After updating to version 2.0.0 clicking the “Yes Button” in the following popup verify dialog does not close the “Setup the 2FA method” popup.

    Are you sure?
    Any unsaved changes will be lost!
    Yes No

    Steps to replicate the issue.

    1. Click the “Configure 2FA Button” on a front-end page which contains the 2FA configuration short-code.
    2. The “Setup the 2FA method” popup will appear.
    3. Click the “Blue X” in the upper right hand corner of the “Setup the 2FA method” popup.
    4. The “Are you sure?” popup will open.
    5. Click the “Yes Button” in the “Are you sure?” popup.
    6. The “Are you sure?” popup will close.
    7. The “Setup the 2FA method” popup will remain open.

    Everything was working fine before the upgrade to Version 2.0.0.

    Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

    Indeed, there is a bug there and we will issue a fix in the upcoming update of the plugin. We are already planning update 2.1, which will be a followup maintenance update of 2.0, in which we will address these issues.

    We have the same problem, big issue for us because we cant generate 2FA Codes / new users anymore.

    – Is there a workaround to generate 2FA Codes for new users?
    – When will this be fixed / the 2.1 update released?

    The 2 FA Configuring page is still screwed. I use this page to generate the qr code and send it to the user manually. With your version 2.1.0 and wordpress 5.8.3 its still not usable:

    When i select the radiobutton “One-time code generated with your app of choice (most reliable and secure)`” nothing happens, only an “#” is added to url.

    How do i generate the QR Code?
