We’re using your excellent 2FA functionality but one thing is confusing our users – the issuer is hardcoded to Wordfence.

Is this possible to change to Name of organisation (protected by Wordfence) or similar?

Hello @modernwoe and thanks for reaching out to us!

It is not possible to change any of the Wordfence messages on the 2FA.

If you could show me a screenshot of exactly what you mean, I could try to come up with a solution for you.

    Thanks again!

It shows in the format Wordfence (domain) (username) when for the client they do not consider themselves logging into Wordfence but instead the domain and means if you have multiple Wordfence 2FA websites it’s not always easy to see which one is which. For example if you have a bunch of development sites it will always display Wordfence (development.) and then can cut off before you can see the domain.

@wfadam did you work out if this is possible to change?

Sorry for the late reply. I never got notified that you replied.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the wordage on those messages.

    Thanks again!
