Configure for_wp mail ()

Great Plugin. I have one request or possibly clarification. I use the WP Mail SMTP plugin to allow use of SMTP for WordPress emails. The setup for our GMAIL account works great for mass emails from our site. My understanding of the WP Mail SMTP plugin is that the plugin modifies the wp_mail() function to work with SMTP. Couldn’t this modification work with Events Manager – Email Users? Would you be able to add wp_mail as an option on your General Settings page?
