Configuring Facebook – Open Graph

    Hi,
    I just started using the plugin and it works well for me.
    I however want to disable Facebook Thumb fixer so I can use the Yoast SEO Socials but the problem is after disabling FTF and configuring Yoast Socials, my Facebook does not share posts with pictures and when I reactivate FTF it works.
    Can you please work me through a step by step on how to configure the plugin properly as I feel I might be missing something.

    Please, make sure that you have set custom open graph meta tags for your posts and pages using the Yoast SEO plugin. Please, refer to our this guide to learn more about this.

    But this would affect my older posts. Would I have to set custom open graph meta tags every single older post?

    If you do not set custom Open Graph tags to your post, then Yoast SEO will use by default:

    • The SEO title as og:title
    • The meta description as og:description
    • The featured image as og:image

    That being said, you should only set custom tags if you want to replace the default values.
