Configuring how the blog is viewed

  • I did some searches on Google, and in here, but was not able to find, what I know is a simple answer.

    Does anyone know how to set up the posts, so they have a title, short description, and then a more >> link?

    I figured there was a setting in the default WP admin, but I all found was for syndication.

    Any tips? SOS

  • If you want the “more” link… you inseert it while writing the post, wherever you want to break the text. There is a button for it above the writing area.

    If you want it done automatically – you can replace the_content tag with the_excerpt in your index.php file.
