“Confirm Form Resubmission” when clicking “back”

Click “Add to Cart”. A new banner appears confirming the product was added to the cart. Click “View Cart” to view the cart.

Now if you click “Back”, you get “Confirm Form Resubmission” warning (or other warning depending on browser).

So the “Add to Cart” button is POSTing and when you click back, if you choose to resubmit the data, it’ll add another item to the cart.

Can we make woocommerce use something else, like javascript or ajax to add an item to the cart so we don’t have this issue? I’m having trouble finding others complaining about it though…
