    I upgraded to WP 6.0, upgraded all my plugins – and ran a health check. There are no conflicts on my website.
    I have a welcome email that MP sends when the user confirms their subscription. Since all the upgrades, this is not sent. I am still testing my website, and this user/email is periodically subscribing and unsubscribing. Could there be something underlying that has broken this?

    If I am very careful to make the user unsubscribed in the MP back end, then delete the unsubscribed user. The user can then successfully subscribe.
    However, I am back to an original error. The welcome email carries an unsubscribe link in the footer, this takes the user to the correct unsubscribe pages on my website and the confirmation page as well. However, the user remains subscribed.
    I am using the standard method as outlined in the MP documentation, I have even tried to use the additional filter from that documentation.
    Please advise what can be wrong with the unsubscribe.

    Is there an SQL or PHP version that needs to be updated?

    OK, so if I am getting this right the Welcome Emails are not sent since you updated to WordPress 6.0

    – Can you please confirm if other emails are being sent?
    – Can you also review this tutorial and also make sure that you are using the latest MailPoet version?
    – And finally, have you tested that with just one email address or with several?
