    Hi,

    I have been having issues with the form not being able to actually sign up users to a mailing list.

    After Checking debugging information and finding that the signups do get sent to Mailchimp I verified that when Double OPT-IN was turned off it actually did sign up the user.

    Turning Double OPT-IN back in resulted in the same but after checking the Mailchimp audience i found out Double OPT-IN was turned off in the Audience settings in Mailchimp. So for the people having the same issues a hint on the Double opt in in the Form settings of the plugin it might be interesting to have them check the audience they are enabling this on. https://mailchimp.com/en-gb/help/set-signup-preferences/

    The setting in our plugin will overwrite the audience setting regarding double opt-in. So it shouldn’t be relevant what that is set to in your Mailchimp audience.
