    Hey there @pcosta88,

    Thanks for writing in and providing all of this information upfront to help us get caught up to speed. I definitely see what you mean here. We would not expect this “confirmation email” success message to be returned when the Double Opt-in checkbox is not selected in the Plugin settings. When this checkbox is not selected, single opt-in signups should return the success message “Success, you’ve been signed up.”

    It will sometimes be the case that this is not fully implemented on a site if the checkbox is unselected but the “Update Subscribe Form Settings” button has not yet been clicked to save those new changes.     All this being said, I went ahead and checked out https://billbrownthrillernovels.com/ and https://billbrownthrillernovels.com/landing-page/ and signed up on each signup form. Both signup forms returned the message “Success, you’ve been signed up” indicating that single opt-in is now working and no confirmation emails are being sent.
