    I set “Send Confirmation Message”. I was testing on new site and filling in form and submitting to make sure it went to Paypal ok. I did not complete transaction at Paypal but received confirmation message from the plugin. This should only be sent if transaction has been completed.

    Otherwise, it seems to work great.

  • The confirmation email was a user request before the last update, it more of a thank-you than a confirmation. When someone completes a payment you will get an email from PayPal as will the payee. The only way for the plugin to know if payment is complete is if you use IPN. I will investigate this but IPN is only available to Business or Premier account holders though.

    I understand. However, the issue is that the confirmation sends whether or not payment has be completed.

    It should only send when IPN is enabled and transaction completes. But it sends whenever the submit button is clicked.

    For me, I just turned confirmation off. For others, it could be an issue.

    I am facing the same problem. without any payment the plugin save all details in database, which one I using., So its giving me a lot problem.

    Can you please provide me solution? How can we save data after payment complete?

    I’m starting work on an update that only sends the comfirmation message after payment. This will only work is IPN is enabled for those with a Premier or Business PayPal account. If you don’t have either of these acounts the only way you will know if payment is complete is from the email PayPal sends you.

    However…

    I installed the new version you sent and tested without payment completion – no confirmation message sent; hooray – I think you fixed it.
