Confirmation link issues

I am currently running a contest and several people are complaining that when they hit the confirmation link in their email it brings them back to the site but shows no sharing links and zero entries. Yet, I see their entry and their confirmation in the participants list.
I tried turning of the Double opt-in but people are now seeing the share buttons after entering but once they refresh they are shown no entries. Do they just have Chache issues?
